Congratulations on joining Wilton's 23 Things Teachers Need to Know About Web 2.0. We are pleased and proud to have you join your fellow Wilton Teachers, Administrators, and Paraprofessionals in this learning journey.
Over the next three months you will complete 23 Things that will allow you to become familiar with a variety of Web 2.0 tools. Everything you need is available online so that you can learn on your own time and at your own pace.
Begin by viewing the links on the right. Most have found it helpful to read the FAQs and Best Practices before working through the list of 23 Things. Please complete them in order. We will be monitoring your progress and encouraging you on your journey. Remember, help is just an email away at hepferm@wilton.k12.ct.us .
Wilton's 23 Things is based on The Learning 2.0 program originally designed by Helene Blowers, Technology Director, Public Library of Charlotte & Mecklenburg County, and and modified by the Wayne RESA in Wayne County, MI. We acknowledge the help and support of the Wayne RESA for their help in getting this project launched. The original program is loosely based upon Stephen Abram’s article, 43 Things I (or You) might want to do this year (Information Outlook - Feb 2006) and the website 43Things.This online program was built using freely available Web 2.0 technologies that include: Blogger, Flickr, YouTube, Wikispaces, Delicious and Bloglines.
